If you don't have your 2008 Chicago Dog Park tag, it's time to get them. Summer is right around the corner, and all dogs using any Dog Friendly Area in the City of Chicago are required to have a current DFA tag. Tags can be purchased at local participating veterinarian offices. DFA tags are only $5, but require a veterinary check up and current vaccinations. It may seem like a lot of trouble to go through just to get a tag, but it's a show of good faith to other beach users that your dogs are healthy, and you are following the rules. So be a good Dog Beach citizen and get your DFA tags right away! For a list of tag requirements and a list of participating vets visit the Chicago Park District web site. Link to CPD DFA site.
